  • The Community Gym is seeking a vibrant, organized, and self-driven Customer Service Assistant to be the voice of our brand and the heart behind the inbox. You’ll play a key role in shaping the client experience, maintaining top-tier communication, and supporting internal systems that keep our studio running with heart and hustle.

    Location: Remote
    Compensation: $18/hour
    Hours: 8 hours/week

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage daily communications, ensuring all messages are answered with warmth and efficiency

    • Act as the voice of The Community Gym — welcoming new clients, answering questions, and delivering the exceptional customer experience we’re known for

    • Drive connection and conversion: follow up with new clientele, build relationships, and encourage them to take the next step in their fitness journey

    • Create and maintain our Customer Service Manual to document tone, procedures, and best practices

    • Provide general administrative support to the leadership team

    • Act as the Private Sales Lead (Private & Corporate Bookings): coordinate inquiries, manage schedules, and ensure a seamless booking process

    • Help maintain a high retention and satisfaction rate through proactive communication and thoughtful service

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities

    • A passion for people, community, and creating inclusive spaces

    • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)

    • Confidence and initiative when managing sales conversations and client follow-ups

    • A self-starter who thrives in a remote, independent work environment

  • Location: In-Person & Remote
    Compensation: $18/hour
    Hours: 10 hours/week

    The Sweat Exchange Coordinator leads The Community Gym’s Sweat Exchange program — a dynamic trade-based initiative where members receive free classes in exchange for supporting studio operations. This role blends scheduling, leadership, maintenance oversight, and community building to help keep the studio running smoothly and beautifully.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage and build the Sweat Exchange schedule on a four-month rotation

    • Train new Sweat Exchange participants, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated

    • Provide shift coverage when necessary or find appropriate replacements

    • Track hours worked and class credits earned by Sweat Exchange team members

    • Maintain studio standards of cleanliness and order by setting and enforcing expectations

    • Oversee inventory and restocking of essential studio supplies

    • Report and follow up on maintenance and repair needs in collaboration with ownership

    • Ensure studio equipment and spaces are clean, safe, and functional

    • Act as a key liaison between the Sweat Exchange team and studio management

    • Foster a motivated, inclusive, and high-energy volunteer culture

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills

    • Strong communication and leadership abilities

    • Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness and care

    • Experience in hospitality, operations, or facilities coordination is an asset

    • Passionate about fitness, community, and creating amazing member experiences

  • We’re seeking a Social Media Manager to enhance our digital presence and strengthen our brand voice. This part-time role is ideal for an organized and creative individual with experience in social media strategy, content planning and execution.

    Location: In-Person & Remote
    Compensation: $18/hour
    Hours: 8 hours week

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Content Strategy, Execution, and Management

    • Work alongside Studio Manager and Videographer to brainstorm, develop and execute a weekly and monthly content calendar aligned with marketing & sales goals

    • Create and schedule content across Instagram and TikTok that maintains a strong brand identity through consistent language and messaging

    • Engage with online Community by responding to all DMs, comments, and tagged posts within 24 hours

    • Post organic content daily in stories utilizing a combination of content captured by photographer, videographer, and self-captured video of in-studio happenings to showcase daily studio energy

    • Optimize targeted ad campaigns for lead generation and conversions

    • Track and analyze social media metrics to measure success and adjust strategy as needed

    Community Outreach Coordinator

    • Work with Studio Manager to plan and execute Community Summer pop-up events

    • Create one-off promotional graphics for all events

    • Develop brand awareness & community engagement strategy through local business collaborations

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in social media management, content strategy, brand partnerships, and community engagement

    • Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business, LinkedIn Analytics, and scheduling tools

    • Proficiency with Canva and basic graphic design skills

    • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, engagement tactics, and brand positioning.

    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics

    • Passion for fitness, wellness, and community building.

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a flexible schedule.

  • Our Sweat Exchange program is great if you're tight on cash, looking for a fun group of people to hang out with, and of course you love to sweat.

    Commit to a 3 or 4 hour studio shift once per week in exchange for a free membership (and other dope perks)! Help keep the studio clean and tidy, assist our coaches in class set up, and help our clients check in and get ready for classes.
